MSCI Upgrades Halyk Bank's ESG rating to ‘BBB» from «BB»

On 27 March 2024, MSCI ESG Research LLC (‘MSCI’) has upgraded Halyk Bank's ESG rating to ‘BBB’ from ‘BB’ following the publication of Annual report and Sustainability report for 2021 and 2022.
The upgrade was a result of significantly enhanced ESG related disclosure and driven by continuous improvements in Bank’s overall governance practices, further enhancement in the Bank's privacy and data security practices, as well as leading consumer protection framework among industry peers.
