Mr Mukushev graduated from Süleyman Demirel University with a degree in computer hardware, software and networks. He also holds an MBA in management from the International Academy of Business

Mr Mukushev has served as deputy chairman and a member of the Management Board of Halyk Bank since April 2022. In April 2023, he was elected chairman of the supervisory board of Halyk Finservice. In November 2023, he was elected to the board of directors of Private Company Open Networks Ltd
Previous Executive Positions
Mr Mukushev has worked at Halyk Bank since May 2021, initially as managing director before joining the Management Board in April 2022. Before joining the Bank, he was deputy minister of labour and social protection of the population of Kazakhstan.
Earlier, he held several leadership positions at Kazpost, including managing director for business transformation and member of the management board responsible for IT, managing director for innovation and member of the management board responsible for IT, chief IT director, and managing director and director of the IT Department. He began his career at Kazkommertsbank, where he progressed from specialist to director of the Innovative Technology Department
